The first Watts for Breakfast?? for 2021 was without a doubt right up there with the most successful ever, with over 60 aircraft arriving at the field and well over 100 breakfasts sold and served.
With Christmas / New Year celebrations a distant memory and hopefully Covid-19 restrictions a thing of the past, pilots were simply itching for a good excuse to get going for a great morning’s flying. And what a wonderful morning it was, with pleasant temperatures, just a gentle NW breeze and not a cloud in the sky! Add as inducement a traditional Aussie Breakfast served up with endless cups of coffee – what more could you ask for??
By 10:00am everyone had left smiling, well-fed and happy, even if it were only to attend the Watts Bridge AGM!!
