Airfield Development – Overview
Watts Bridge Memorial Airfield is located in South East Queensland, approximately 5nm from the small country township of Toogoolawah. The airfield development plan places great emphasis on recreational aviation activities, to ensure easy, open and affordable access for all aviators, making Watts Bridge the long term centre for sport aviation in South East Queensland.

The Fuel Depot is located in the centre of the airfield adjacent to the airfield’s main aircraft parking areas.
The Air Chalet Development (Precinct 6), situated toward the North West end of the airfield, presents the aviation enthusiast with the unique opportunity of building a combined hangar and modest dwelling.
The Private Hangar Site Area (Precinct 1), situated toward the South East end of the airfield, anticipates the requirement for affordable hangarage of aircraft on the airfield.
The Commercial Hangar Area (Precinct 8) located at the North West end of the field , allows aviation based industry to be located on the airfield. for the design, manufacture, repair and maintenance of aircraft.
The Camping and Caravan Sites Area has been set aside for visitors to enjoy camping and caravanning while on the airfield.
The Homebase Groups Area is located in the centre of the public area of the airfield and provides a location for the Homebase Groups to build club rooms for the benefit of their members.
Three Trees Reserve provides public car parking when the airfield hosts major flying events and is also an area designated for flying model aircraft.
