Since the Watts for Breakfast event in early September this year, work to improve the facility being established in the shelter shed has continued. A reinforced concrete area has now been laid at the front and the runway side of the container donated by Bob Dennis. This will provide a clean, firm and tidy area for the placement of the BBQ’s, other cooking equipment and serving area for further such events.

WBMA Maintenance Officer Peter Freeman is pleased to report that membership interest has helped considerably in achieving this latest improvement. Brian Fitch, Peter Biddle, Craig Thomsen, Mark Foy, Ken Hulse, Ron Dunn, Bob & Robyn Dennis have all contributed at various times to the effort.

The outside of the container will see a clean up and a fresh coat of paint. Further power points in the area adjacent to the container are also being considered.
