Redcliffe Aero Club Coffee Hop
On the Saturday before Christmas, the Redcliffe Aero Club Coffee Hop gave pilots a good reason to drop in on some of their local neighbouring airfields. As well as Watts Bridge, other landing points along the route included Kilcoy, Gatton for lunch, Clifton, Boonah, and Heck Field.
Watts Bridge members Ron Dunn, Michael Sheppard, Mark Bolsover and Peter Biddle were on-hand to welcome the Redcliffe Crew to the shelter shed with tea, coffee and cold drinks. It’s always good to catch up with aviators from around the district.
The Redcliffe Aero Club is quick to point out that their events are open to all, not just RAC club members!
If you’re interested in hearing about any of their other monthly flyaways, you can do any or all of the following:
- Follow the Redcliffe Aero Club on Facebook
- Request to join the elusive “Redcliffe Aero Club Flyaways” Facebook group
- Request Sam Keenan – RAC Vice President (email firstname.lastname@example.org) to add your email address to their mailing list.
