Red Thunder TFC Over Ipswich
This year has seen a hive of activity at QWVAA with the Red Thunder guys putting on a formation show for the Ipswich City Council at their 2021 Planes Trains & Automobile Event.
The event saw a 7 aircraft Arrow formation overfly the Ipswich Rail Museum. Whilst weather conditions were difficult the flypasts and aerobatic displays provided by the Red Thunder team was carried out without a hitch! On the day spectators were treated to flypasts and aerobatic displays at 10am and again at 3:30pm. Each flypast involved 3 passes the first in a 7 aircraft Arrow formation, the second a 7 aircraft echelon pitch out followed by the low-level aerobatic display, with the last pass displaying a re-join of aircraft into Arrow formation.
