Building Four Private Hangars
What a fabulous vote of confidence in the airfield – the commencement of no less than four brand new hangars in the Private Hangar Precinct!!
02.04.2021 Stuart Summers is the first to pour a slab on his Site HADD. Expect to see rapid progress on this build.
17.04.2021 Now that the wet weather has given way to crisp autumn days, Stewart is making great progress with the fabrication of the steel framework for his hangar.
24.04.2021 Stewart’s Private Hangar is now completed to lock-up stage. What a quick build that was!!
02.04.2021 Chris Lee has commenced earthworks on Site HADF but is looking at later in the year to see real progress.
21.08.2021 The concrete slab for hangar site HADF has been poured and the metalwork kit for the hangar is now on site.
29.08.2021 The hangar framework was essentially erected through the week, no doubt with cladding to follow in the the next few days.
02.04.2021 Gianni Serafino is to be especially congratulated for commencing a project which will see not one but two hangars on Site HAAD. Gianni is expecting to start building within the next 2-3 months!
13.08.2021 Now that the ground has dried out from the unseasonal July rain, the first 2 weeks in August has seen great progress on Gianni’s Hangars. Concrete poured and erection of one hangar well on the way to completion.
21.08.2021 The second hangar has been erected during the last weel. Looking good!!
29.08.2021 The hangar doors are being hung along with the finishing details such as gutters, ridge capping etc.
