AAC QC Christmas Party
The 2020 AAC QC State Championships were held under the Covid 19 social distancing rules which placed real limits on what could and couldn’t be done socially. So the awards presentation was held over until the annual club Christmas Party when everyone is already in a good mood and not tired out from 3 days of hard-fought competition.
In the afternoon Santa arrived to entertain the kids and bring gifts. Alan Kilpatrick showed us why he is one of the best air show pilots in Australia. Many thanks to Alan for the exhibition of fine aerobatic skills. Mark Foy had the smiles on the kids face with tractor rides around the airfield. This was all a great prelude to the evening`s festivities.
The Christmas Party itself was a fantastic evening, very laid back, celebrated with fine food and drink, all enjoyed in the company of AAC QC members and many friends from the Watts Bridge airfield community.
